The Practice Of Faith

James:1:1-4: "1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To the twelve tribes in the Dispersion:
Greetings.
Testing of Your Faith
2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."

So, James was really before Paul. He was mainly talking about the people scattered because of the Stephen stoned situation. He takes, like as many seconds just to say his name and who it is to, and he starts with "Count it all joy my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds. So we should expect troubles to come, and DON'T be surprised about it. And Wayne Brooks put it in this sentence, which really makes good sense. "It is the testing that fire makes metal stronger. In the same way, Suffering will build steadfastness in your faith and your heart."

You may weep when you suffer that is okay. Know these trials are actually for you. When you suffer, give praise to God, and this may also help you have a stronger faith and trust in him. In this world, feelings rule. It might rule us at times. The key is: To fight it and let God and The Bible take full control in your life. This is a really hard thing to do. Don't immediately go to the secrets of Gods plan. Go to the known things of this, and put your trust in him. He is an all knowng God.

Be patient with God and whatever your waiting for will come. But be patient. Like a Farmer planting his seeds. He is then patient to wait for the crops to spring up. So be patient. Let steadfastness have a lead on you.

Hope this helps.
