Warning Against False Teachers

This scripture for today is: 1 Timothy 1:3-7:
"3 As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine." This verse really implies do not teach false doctrine. Example: Do not wed, because it will not make you powerful in spirit. Do not teach that andif someone else is, stop them, or try and get the other people to not listen to them. On: 4 Nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith." Do not believe in myths and legends. They are useless and not real. take note that this is not either! IT IS THE TRUTH! Believe that believing in myths will pull you from God. "5 The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." Our charge means Our plan. We are to love God with a pure or true heart, really loving him and not faking it. Knowing What is Fale Teaching when it is hurled at you, and having a "sincere faith" in God that he will protect and bring you to heaven. "6 Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion." These people that go to church, but then loose it and say, "this feels useless." are known and classified as false members Who stray and hate the "Sound Doctrine" and like the "False Doctrine" because it sounds cool to them. And they wander into a discussion they think is profitable, but they are blind. "7 desiring to be teachers of the law, without understanding either what they are saying or the things about which they make confident assertions." They do not understand what they are doing. They did have a chance, but they are now in trouble. We have done that, in th beginning, but, we are now able to stop it because of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I see an example. I had a friend. I deliberately brought him to the christian life. He listened, did believe, but, then new kids moved into the neighborhood. They were, he put it this way,"More cool than you are. They have Xbox360, you don't." and, this was before I got the ps2. They were anti christians, and slowly turned him back to the life before, but he didn't realize, and because of it, I lost a friend, who turned to an anti christian. I hated to watch him fall away, and desperately tried to save him. This did not really help. Basically like a rose in a grass blade. It withers away, so he withered away.

I hope this helps,

Ben,
You can't deliberately bring someone to God. You can show them the way, but you can't make them decide. You planted a seed, but the roots didn't take. But you never know if the seed takes root in the future. All you can do is pray for him. You can't save him yourself.
